Faces of MePACS

Meet Elliot, a skilled and much‑valued member of the MePACS workshop team!

A strong technical foundation

Elliot joined MePACS over three years ago, bringing with him an impressive technical background and a genuine commitment to quality. Before joining the team, he spent seven years repairing white goods and prior to that he worked as a qualified electrician in England. Today, that wealth of experience plays a vital role in keeping our home alarm systems reliable, safe and ready for our clients.

In the workshop, Elliot is responsible for maintaining and programming home alarms, carefully cleaning, reprogramming, updating firmware and thoroughly testing both new and refurbished units before they’re dispatched for installation. Every alarm that passes through his hands is meticulously checked to ensure it meets MePACS’ high standards.

Making a big difference

Elliot’s work is often behind the scenes, but it’s absolutely essential. Many people don’t realise the detailed process returned alarms go through before re‑entering service – from battery replacements and firmware updates to rigorous testing. This care and precision reflect our commitment to quality and reliability for those who depend on our services every day.

The structured and consistent nature of Elliot’s role suits him well, and while some tasks are repetitive, it’s the people that make all the difference.
“I really enjoy the team at MePACS. The people are great – the people I work with and people I work for,” Elliot shares.

Life beyond the workshop

Outside of work, Elliot enjoys simulated car racing, going for walks and restoring cars. He’s also keen on gardening and tackling projects at home. “I really enjoy gardening and handyman work, and I have a couple of cats that are the bane of my life,” he laughs.

Originally from England, Elliot moved to Australia for his wife, who is Australian, and has grown to love life in Melbourne. “I like Melbourne because it’s kind of like London, just 10 degrees warmer,” he says. While he misses friends and family back home, he’s grateful for the connections he’s made here. Working closely with the workshop team across technical and dispatch support roles, Elliot helps ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently at MePACS. His expertise, dedication and steady presence make him a cornerstone of the workshop.

We’re proud to have Elliot as part of the MePACS team and deeply appreciate the excellence and care he brings to his work every day.
