features & benefits
Why monitoring matters
With MePACS' 24/7 monitoring you can trust that help is always available, night or day.
Guaranteed professional response
Relying on family or friends to answer your call and know how to respond can be risky. Our service guarantees every call will be answered fast - no missed calls, no delays.
Fast help when minutes counts
Emergencies can strike any time. Our trained responders answer every single alert within two minutes and quickly arrange the right help.
Experience and quality matters
Unlike family or friends, or some other call centres, MePACS' response team is trained in line with Triple Zero protocols and handle emergency alerts calmly and effectively.
We know who you are
In an emergency, you don’t have to explain your medical history or provide your location. Because your details are on file, we can send help , even if you are unresponsive.
We know when to call Triple Zero
No two emergencies are the same. We tailor our response to every call to ensure you get the right help. Non-monitored, auto-dial alarms can't be programmed to call Triple Zero, as is an offence to make a non-emergency call to 000 under the Criminal Code Act.
We stay with you
In an emergency, we stay in contact with you, providing calm reassurance and support until help arrives. We also notify your loved ones if requested, so they know what's happening and can provide additional support if needed.

What makes MePACS different?
Our service is trusted by care professionals, clients and families.
Not a generic call centre
We are not a generic call centre — our response team are all Bayside Health employees based in Melbourne, first-aid trained as a minimum, and fully compliant with the Disability Act and Aged Care Act.
Not for profit
We are proudly part of Bayside Health, a large Victorian public health service. This means any profit seen stays in Australia and is reinvested into public healthcare initiatives that benefit all Australians.
We uphold our duty of care
We hold ourselves to the highest standards of care and service quality in line with healthcare legislation and regulations. We provide person‑centred services that are inclusive, respectful and empathetic.
Compliant with Australian Standards
As an active member of industry regulator PERSL, we comply with AS4607 — delivering reliable, high-quality care with accountability and transparency.
Registered Aged Care and NDIS Provider
As a division of Bayside Health, MePACS' services are registered with both My Aged Care and the NDIS, which means that we meet their requirements for compliance and can be funded through these national government programs.
Partnering for good
Through our governmental connection, we are able to partner with hospitals, universities, the National Centre for Healthy Ageing and others to support research, innovation and new initiatives for vulnerable Australians.

AS 4607 compliance
Why compliance matters?
When you activate a personal alarm, you are relying on it to work every time, without fail. That is where Australian Standard AS 4607 comes in.
What does compliance means?
AS 4607 compliance demonstrates a commitment to high-quality products and services. It ensures the quality of:

What is AS 4607?
AS 4607 is the Australian Standard for personal response systems. It sets out the minimum requirements for how personal alarms must be designed, installed, monitored and maintained.
Why is it important
In an emergency, the stakes couldn't be higher. Compliance means personal alarms are not just a decoration. It ensures the alarm does its job effectively when it matters most.
Non-compliant alarm providers
Compliance with AS 4607 is not mandatory, so not all alarm providers meet the requirements. A non-compliant alarm, such as many auto-diallers, can be unreliable or ineffective. This puts your safety at risk and potentially leaves you vulnerable should an emergency arise.
How to know if a provider is compliant?
The easiest way to find a trusted provider is to look for PERSL membership.
PERSL is Australia’s industry body for monitored personal alarms, and all members meet As 4607 compliance, strict quality standards and ethical conduct.
